Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

When you use SimplifyMe, we do not require you to create an account. The only information we collect is the text of the tasks and "brain dumps" you submit to the application.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the text you provide exclusively to operate the core functionality of the app: simplifying, categorizing, and organizing your to-do lists. If you choose to save and share your list, the tasks are stored in our secure database (hosted on Cloudflare) so they can be accessed via the unique shareable link generated for you.

3. Third-Party AI Services

To provide our "Simplify" feature, the text you enter is securely transmitted to our third-party artificial intelligence provider (OpenAI) via their API. OpenAI processes this text to generate the categorized checklist. OpenAI's API policies explicitly state that data submitted via their API is not used to train their AI models.

4. Public Links & Data Security

SimplifyMe is designed to be frictionless. When you save a list, we generate a unique, cryptographically random link (e.g., simplifyme.app/list/...). Anyone who possesses this link can view and edit the list. For this reason, we strongly advise against entering highly sensitive personal information, passwords, or financial data into the app.

5. Data Retention

Your lists are stored indefinitely in our database to ensure your shareable links continue to work. You have the ability to manually delete tasks from your lists using the app interface at any time.
